I remember hiking the Tongariro Alpine Crossing and being in awe of the volcanic terrain and the Emerald Lakes. It was like nothing I had ever seen before.

Another thing that makes New Zealand special is its wildlife. The country is home to many unique animals, such as the kiwi bird, the tuatara reptile, and the Hector's dolphin. I was lucky enough to see a kiwi bird at a

wildlife sanctuary, and it was such a special moment. The bird was so cute and quirky, and it made me appreciate the importance of conservation efforts.

Finally, the people of New Zealand are some of the friendliest I have ever met. They are always willing to help and make you feel at home. I remember being lost in a small town and a local woman stopped to give me directions and even invited me to her house for tea. It was such a kind gesture and it made my day.
