My English teacher recommended me to take a part in an English speech competition. But I doubt that I have the ability to win. As is known to all my classmates that I can speak English as if he were a native speaker. However, I dare not voice my opinions, especial in public. My best friend Lily has been encouraged me to accept the challenge. On her opinion, whether I can win the competition or not doesn’t matter as long I try my best. What a wonderful day for skating !My friends and I went skating on yesterday.When we arrived we found a lot of people were already here.My friend was very poor at skating but was afraid of skating alone .He held onto my arm and walks slowly and carefully, whenever someone passed by his body rocked violent as if he was about fall . I took hold of him many times so as he wouldn’t fall .He kept trying and gradually should skate alone . Then we skated together freely,laugh with joy and excitement .We felt so great!
4．Several years before, my friend and I would often drive to Chicago to pay a visit our other friends. After a couple of trips we noticed that there was a homeless man always sitting at a same exit of the subway. One day we brought some food with us and gave them to him. When he saw what we have brought for him, he became exciting with joy. After seeing his reaction, my friend and I decided to take our action a little of farther. One night we packed up sandwiches and bottles of water, looking for people whom were in need. The look of joy in the face of each person we helped was one of the most amazing feeling in my life.
